Simple google searches using such topics as "Things to do in Bermuda", "Visiting Bermuda", etc. will bring up scores of website links giving you tons of information.

Do some basic research than come back and ask specific questions.

irina, you are correct. Nor are the Bahamas, for that matter. But since they are pretty islands in the North Atlantic we include them anyway.

Me too, would like to get advice on best area to stay; rent from owner or stay at hotel with or without meal plan, just beginning my research and any advice is helpful! Love the beach so would want to stay on a nice beach.

A lot will depend on your budget. Bermuda is a fairly expensive island. Hotels with beautiful beaches are on the south shore - Elbow Beach, Fairmont Southampton, The Reefs, etc. Hamilton Princess lets you stay in town but enjoy the beach at Southampton. I have been there about 25 times, I guess. Initially used to stay at Elbow and Southampton. A little older now and stay at Rosedon, a guest house in the city, right across from the Hamilton Princess. Rosedon provides transportation to a southshore beach just along from Elbow. Good value for money. We like being in the city as you can walk to many fine restaurants (save on taxi fares - no rental cars available) and still feel safe. If you have questions, I may be able to answer, offer advice.

We went seven years ago. You may or may not find this information viable but I'll share with you anyway.
