Just noticed a banner for advertising from the Orient Village restaurant of Le Telegraphe'. So glad to see that they are advertising here! On our recent visit we went no less than 3 times. So enjoyable. Still working on pics and such from our trip... But just wanted to say "yay" for gaining them as an advertiser.

Yes, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal there also, and great that they are an advertiser! For those who don't know, it is run by Alex, formerly of Calmos Café. They have a really interesting variety of seating options, all they way from ocean view to seating on the Village Square. They are one of the few in the square that are open for lunch, and of course, for dinner also. They have a real website, with a menu hereOh, and looking forward to seeing that trip report, Leona!

Hello Elaine! Did you end up at Telegraphe? What did you think? Try the Onion Soup? Karen

Yes we did. We were there for lunch and onion soup was not on the menu. When I asked our server immediately said it was usually a dinner item but she would check with the kitchen. Happily the chef was happy to make the soup. But, honestly, I was disappointed. It was good, for sure. But really no depth of flavor. Other meals at the table were enjoyed. Try the Yummy Salad!!!!! Service was excellent. I would go back, but order something else.
Their rum punch is probably the best I have had.

Chuck--there are many great restaurants now in Orient Village, but I do agree that Le Telegraphe is a great addition!

We have got to start doing more lunches. We plant ourselves on the beach and lunch is usually something quick.
This sounds great. I'm hearing good things on other forums too.

Over the years we go out much less at night. We have our big meal at lunch on the beach, very leisurely, and then at night it's simple or leftover with a salad....or staying close to "home'".
