Can't zoom in on port webcams

I can't seem to zoom in on any of the port webcams anymore. Used to always be able to do that to see the details. Is this a common problem or is it only something with my devices? Thank you in advance.

I just tried the SXM port webcam and could not zoom. It also seems to be malfunctioning.

I have never tried to zoom in before so can't help but a. It usually zoomed in on its own.
