Any further details? Flight Aware shows that flight number didn't depart PJIA until 2am

Apparently it was diverted to Miami instead of CLT as scheduled.

I heard a flight depart at 2 AM. They had to wait for another crew to arrive I was told. What a long day for those folks!

I'll see if I can find it. There wasn't much to the post other than it was aborted and poster assumed it was mechanical.

Yesterday there were two AA 757s parked on the tarmac from the prior night. I had assumed that both were held here (I'm, on SXM) because of high winds at destination airports. One of them was still here this morning. Have heard nothing about any aborted flights here.

Quite a discussion about it with some on the aborted flight posted on Simply SXM Facebook page. Since it's a private group you might not have seen it unless you belong to it.

Quite a discussion about it with some on the aborted flight posted on Simply SXM Facebook page. Since it's a private group you might not have seen it unless you belong to it. I left that group several months ago. It got to be just "too much"....
