For any Canadians flying down on WestJet (WS2652) tomorrow, please be aware this flight's schedule has already been pushed off by two hours. Based on the weather expected in Toronto tomorrow, it may be pushed off even further. For those of you already in St. Martin and expecting to go home on this flight (WS2653), you may have your beach time extended!! Please keep checking the WestJet website for updates.

For anyone on the island, the flight got off at 11:32 Toronto time and is scheduled to now land at SXM at 17:53 local time. The outbound flight (WS2653) is now scheduled to leave PJIA at 18:38 local time and arrive in Toronto at 23:01 EST. The return to Toronto should be OK. The heavy bands of snow and freezing rain here have already passed and only some scattered snow flurries or freezing rain expected overnight. We seem to have dodged the bullet of the potential 15 to 20 cms. of snow that they predicted might happen.
