I've tried to search places on St. Martin on the Gault & Millau website. I didn't come up with anything by the search other than having to go to the map and moving it around over to St. Martin. There a quite a few listed with ratings. Very impressive.
It is just an image file showing the locations on the island that have been reviewed. To see the actual reviews and an interactive version of the map, go to their website.
Thx......Ance Marcel comes out top with 14.5/20. Described as Gastronomique and I have never eaten there! Being a foodie, perhaps I should one day. Is this really worth the trip? La Cigale highly rated, eaten several times and they gave a write up on Barranco in GC that was good, but the usual story, all our tastes differ.
bran--We've only eaten at Anse Marcel Beach Club once, but I thought it was worth the trip, yes. Provided you make a day of it, and get one of their cabanas for lunch.
I give up though, can you post a link to where you find the reviews, etc., as I bumped around for a while and never found how to get to the St Martin listings. Thanks.
Le Pressoir was very highly rated. I actually didn't realize it had reopened. I'm not sure that we have eaten there..
Don't know if the menu has changed since June/July but many complaints about set meal prices which weren't the best. New owners changed the format. I used to love the place about 5 plus years ago until on two occasions about a year pre-Irma, the noise from the bikers opposite in the car park was just too much and the owners said they couldn't do anything about it, or wouldn't. So stopped going.
Seems that they have....http://lepressoirsxm.com/our-menu/
