Has anyone been on board or chartered the newer Lagoon 450s? I see several in charter now and I am lusting after that boat.... lounge pads in cockpit, lounge pads on deck above salon, lounge pit on foredeck - I can do a lot of lounging on that boat!!!

Also, love the separate shower stalls.

Is it obvious that I don't care how it sails on the wind?

Yes, we had 4 couples on one (2012 Dream Yacht Charters) in Oct. '12. Look up my trip report. We loved it so much. And you are right, lots of good lounging on that boat. We are renting the 3 cabin Lagoon 450 for this October. Let me know if you have any questions! wink

The Lagoon 440 was a great boat but they listened to the professional crews and made the 450 fixing the issues. It is a great boat.

Thanks for the comments re the Lagoon 450. We are looking at Chartering one next year in April or May - 2 adults and 2 children. Do you have any recommendations or know anything about the following boats: KATLO or Gypsy Princess? Any information would be much appreciated. Recommended Boat/Charter Broker?

Our boat last Oct. was named the Katlo. But the owner took it out of charter and it is now for sale. Maybe there is another Katlo that you are talking about?

Katlo will be a crewed charter yacht this year with a new very well known crew? Katlo is equiped with some awesome equipment including a fabulous Bose stereo, watermaker, onboard internet, etc. The new 450's are awesome.

In addition to managing Catatonic and Black Pearl, I am also a local broker. Message me if I can be of assistance.
