Does anyone know if the Sunset Cafe at Grand Case Beach Club is open? Also, what time the 2-3 Supermarket near the rotary which is also near the dutch/french monument closes on a Sunday?

Yes it's open under new management and last March we didn't enjoy it as much as in the past. Could have been "start-up woes"? If you stay at GCBC they no longer offer free with room.

I think they’re talking about the continental breakfast that used to be included. I didn’t notice it on our reservation for next year but that’s not the end of the world, or not for us anyway.........
Respectfully,

Yes, I meant the continental breakfast is no longer included with the room. I can't remember the names of the new people at the restaurant but they are a brother and sister.

I had a late lunch last time I was on island and also had a less-than-stellar experience. I chalked it up to start-up woes and will give them another chance on my upcoming trip.

We were not as happy as in the past with the new Sunset Cafe food/service when we were there in July. . We will give in another chance once they have their full new kitchen completed. They were working under difficult conditions. I also heard the old owners will be opening a small restaurant in Grand Case.Do not know where or when.

We ate from the "food-truck" while the old owners were there and it was delicious. Second meal under new ownership was not so stellar, so it wasn't the kitchen or lack of.

I personally am not familiar with the store you are referring to. You have a bunch of great options for grocery stores in the Hope Estate area, including Super U and Leader Price, and Petit Casino, in the Village, but I don't really know their hours on Sunday offhand. I THINK the Super U closes at 2 on Sunday.
