Hi...I arrive Saturday in STT @ 3:30 / not checking bags and am sitting in the back of the plane. Do you think I will make the last ferry from CA to RT or do I need a private taxi?
I had Kevin lined up but he quoted me a price, than gave me a deal when he heard it was just me, now when I confirm he changed his mind and now raised it even more than the original quote.
I even had screen shots of our chats. This has me a bit irritated, but I need to be on that ferry.
Any advice appreciated

You should make the last ferry (5)and make sure we get to meet this time!! Just jump in the first cab and maybe slip him a couple of $$ to get you there before he fills it..

However, the ferry could be sold out. This almost happened to us. We were two couples. The arriving to the ferry was fine. But it was quite full. There were about five people who were not allowed on the ferry (and since it was the last one for that, that would pretty much ruin your day).

I had not considered that this would be a problem because it was October (very low season). So we didn't buy our tickets ahead of time. I was more worried about not making it on time. Next time I will buy the tickets ahead of time.

I believe there is a 5 out of Charlotte Amalie..BTW buying tix ahead of time most certainly does not guarantee you a seat on the boat. Think they keep selling tix and if you are last in line..tough.

Planes that I have arrived on to STT unload passengers from both the front and rear. Hopefully, this will be to your advantage in disembarking quickly.

On FB someone asked if they could extend this to weekdays. Response was depending on online ticket sales. Not sure how that would work, but I get the point that they will expand offerings if demand is demonstrated.
