Just got back from SXM. Love to sit on the beach, but there is just so much sitting down and relaxing one can do. At our home resort (White Tail Resort in Ivor, VA) we play corn-hole, along with volleyball (pool and parlor). To mix up the fun on the beach this year, we found and brought a portable corn-hole game with lightweight bean bags. It fit in our luggage too and only weighed about 5-lbs. We brought it to the O'Club beach, set it up just behind the first row of chairs/umbrellas and had a great time playing.
The game was a hit! We discovered that a number of folks never played the game (or have ever seen it) so it was intriquing to them. It's a great ice-breaker for folks to meet others, learn how to play, and participate in friendly competition.
Thanks to all those we met and we look forward to seeing you all next year. Just remember to bone up on your aim and toss!
