Hi! Is this is good airline to use? I have flown American before they stopped, then Seaborne, then a public ferry from STT and then a private boat from STT. Now I am ok on Seaborne (still don't like and have anxiety) but they're sold out on our date! (April 2020!) So I want the biggest plane I can find, but making sure they're reputable...
STT would be a no-brainer, but it's a pain. This is for EIS-SJU. I have the way down booked already on Seaborne/Silver.
Thanks!

Fly Inter Caribbean if you prefer larger aircraft, Cape Air are tiny 9 seaters.

We have used IC 4x with no issues...flown Seaborne/Silver, Cape Air and private charter. You can search this site and find pros/cons of each. I am in the DCA/SJU/EIS camp and avoid the STT/ferry option...
On way out we do have a long layover at SJU with EIS. There is a later flight but dont want to miss the SJU/DCA connection. We also find easier to find options to states from SJU than STT
IC is the cheapest...

Thank you! I prefer a long layover too (boring but less stress) If I do a 415 flight out of SJU, you think the 12pm flight arriving at 12:45 is plenty of time right? We won't check bags..

Exactly...our DCA flight isn't until 600 but we get out on the 12-1 EIS/SJU flight as opposed to the 3-4 one...you will have way more time then you need but no stress.
We never check bags either. 3hrs30min is way more time then you will need even on a weekend. SJU is usually crowded in AM.
My guess if you land at SJU at 1245 you will be at your gate 45 mins later...or at Margaritaville contemplating your great BVI trip

If you are looking for April 2020 I wouldn't book anything this early - things change too much.

I booked because Cape Air already has few flight sold out, Silver only one seat entire day so we couldn't do and then Southwest I already lost their cheapest fare which was available last week! I agree it seems ridiculously early but we are staying in SJ overnight anyways so hoping not too much changes. And the fare TO SJU was super low on SWA... I feel like flights are limited and so expensive this year. I booked IC way home...

When you fly Cape Air you definitely get the experience of flying. The views are amazing at 2000 ft.

If you are booking in April around Easter, probably not too early. Flight have always been expensive the 2 weeks around Easter.
