After overnighting in Ft Lauderdale we took our first Jet Blue flight. 7am departure to St Maarten. Great to be 10 minutes early and the only large plane in. On first busload to C & I. Walked right through. Angela from Horizon Car Rentals was waiting for us. Less than 10 minutes to give car a once over and sign papers. we took Angela back to her office, then drove back to Baccaneer Beach Bar for an early lunch. Our friendly waitress, Gina, took our order. Prices seem to be pretty close to last Jan/February. We split a chicken/caesar wrap. Then onto our timeshare at Oyster Bay Beach Resort. We had a 1 bedroom unit on the 1st floor. Ran into Jeannie as she was leaving from stocking our frig and pantry. A couple naps to overcome the early "getup" for our flight then onto Princess Casino for a little slot play. Betty was up, Norm was down. A surprisingly uncrowded trip to The Palm's for dinner. Betty had the chicken wings, me,....of course, Lasagna. Presented Greg and Jo a plate to celebrate their recent wedding.
Good start for this trip.
