Anybody planning to spend Thanksgiving in the islands? Where are you having dinner?

We will be there for Thanksgiving! We will most likely either be at Jost or Anegada….depending on the weather!

We will also be there for Thanksgiving. Probably on Jost. We are traveling just the two of us this year.

Friday and Saturday night we will be on Anegada for the Lobster Festival.

This will be the 2nd Thanksgiving in over thirty years I will have missed in the BVI's.
Enjoy it for me.

Let me correct myself. Last year I was about half way there on the way down from Georgia with the new boat.
Hope that counts for being there, well almost anyway.

We will be there but are going to do a nice dinner on the boat that night.

Last weekend we celebrated Thanksgiving (the one actually associated with the harvesting of crops and the resulting "thankfulness' for the bounty of food)

It usually coincides with the Columbus Day holiday in the States which I associate more with the Annapolis Boat Show than Columbus.

This year we had turducken which made for an interesting session of belt loosening.

The November Thanksgiving, associated with football and greedy retailers, is just another work weekday for us.

Are you able to source turkeys, fixing for stuffing and real cranberries in the islands?

After every Monday and Tuesday even the calendar says WTF.

Have been able to source everything at Christmas, so hoping for the best.
