Hello all, wife and I are going over on a day trip, renting a car and doing a lap around VG. I was wondering if there are any places to eat lunch that are worth stopping.
Also while I'm asking, wife wants to know how long it takes to walk the trail at the Baths?? Headed over on non cruise ship day Nov 6th to avoid crowds.
Thank you for any advice. RA

For food, you can't beat Hog Heaven! Re: the trail at the Baths, we just did it with a group of 12 a couple months ago on a non-cruise ship day. Depending on your pace and how often you stop along the way to take in the beautiful scenery, I'd say 60-90 minutes. We jumped in the water a couple times to cool off and I think we were back at the top of the baths in just over 90 minutes. Enjoy!

Hog Heaven has the best location! We adore it, a friend with us was less than thrilled with the menu, which is limited and BBQ/grill based.

We had nice meals at Top of the Baths, which has the added bonus of a fresh water pool to rinse off.

If Coco Maya is open, that is also great. Its right on the beach with loungers.

Hog Heaven is a must. Last time we were there my wife had the Conch in Butter Sause and it was awesome. Obviously a name like Hog Heaven implies BBQ. smile

Hi - the trail down from the parking lot (pay your fee to the park entrance) takes only 10 minutes - to wander through the baths to devil's bay should take about 20 minutes depending how fast you are going - watch your head on the rocks - have a drink at the Poor Man's Bar and enjoy the views - 30 minutes.

Thank you all for the information,
BBQ is never an issue for the wife or me so sounds good. Had great food on Tortola in May so food is not an issue in the BVIs for us.

The views are spectacular from Hog Heaven. On a clear day, you can see Anegada. Even if you have already eaten, it's worth the trip to have a drink and check out the views.

Mineshaft never reopened I read? That was our favorite stop for a bite and the Cave In - “It’s all in the Juice!”

Great! Same owner? Cannot remember his name...but watching the Cave In bing prepared was almost as much fun as drinking it...

I am Irish, and have been to Leverick several times. Blame spell check, or fingers over mind?
Nick personally met us on the dock a couple of times (bless his heart). Great place always

The restaurant upstairs at Leverick is as fine a dining experience as anywhere.
