Let's review what's been posted. Initially the airport filed a damage and business interruption claim for $125M or so. After much back and forth, mediaton and court decisions, the claim was settled for $71M (at least the damage part). World Bank and the Dutch government pledged $200M or so which is now signed for as noted in above article. So a total of $271M or so to pay for damages of $71M as agreed settled in Court decision. Where does the difference of $200M go? Hopefully most to other infrastructure repairs-- or in someones pocket.? After 25 months since IRMA it still defies explanation! and the airport is not close to fixed. No wonder the need for an Intregity Chamber
