Anyone at all have any experience with
Ty's Place at 101 welfare rd, just past Billy Folley road it appears.
Some more newbies are now looking for accomodation,,,it is less expensive than
atrium,,but still in same neck of the woods. It appears to look good from pics? But first hand experience is always good to have.

Sure looks like it would be a great place, I imagine you could park right in front which would be handy. As long as no one has any issues with stairs, it looks like a winner. Love the washer and dryer this unit has, too. Close to plenty of restaurants, too, within walking distance.

Yes, I thought it "looked" good too,,,just looking for someone who has had any experience staying there, first hand, as pics are not always reliable. I do know where Bavaria is,,we walked right past it last year, but ran out of time to actually eat there. This year for sure will give it a try as I love German food. Still checking all out.

Is this the building where "Crave" used to be?

The only thing that I would be worried about is that it is on Welfare Road. Could be noisy and busy. If it really is as nice as the pictures, a little noise is forgivable.

that's what I would be worried about too, noisy and busy. Plus I don't understand the parking, I would be worried that someone would use my parking space. It says free private parking, but it doesn't appear to be gated..

Carol,
Whatever do you mean? I'm sure a non-resident wouldn't ever consider "squatting" there.

I think it may be the same building but not 100% sure.

fritzks--It is Welfare Road and parking is pretty scarce.

Thanks, I thought it was the same place and I have walked and driven by it many times but never went there.

The location there would be a turn off for me. Too noisy and definitely no view there. They would be better off chosing something like the Atrium Resort or Simpson Bay Resort if those would be available.
