Highly recommend Mary's Bar for local food. Mary owned a restaurant before working as a housekeeper at LaVista for many years. Restaurant was successful but profit sharing/lease arrangement was not. We got to know Mary quite well during our times at LaVista. She always dreamed of opening her own restaurant again. About a year ago she opened Mary's while still working at La Vista. A few months ago she left La Vista and worked Mary's Bar full time and it has been successful. It is located on the street behind the yellow Blue Point building. Easy access from pondfill rd. It is a very basic restaurant with excellent food. For the last several years I have asked her to make me a big pot of goat curry and enjoyed it for many meals at my unit.

BBQ chicken and ribs combo sounds good.

Hopefully with some good fries and Mac and cheese.

I always admire folks who are able to drink 🍹 and have salad.
I love carbs when I'm drinking.
