I’d like to reach out to the front desk folks at the Villas at SBBR concerning a check-in next week. Does anyone have contact info for that which does not involve an international phone call? Perhaos an email / name. The emails I have recently received from Royal about our arrival, and an 800 phone number suggested, all went to personnel in Cancun.
Thanks for any leads to contact staff on site, especially re the Villas units. Maryellen

I'm not sure this is what you meant.

Don't think that is what was wanted. OP wanted an email address or direct toll free line to the resort.

I don't know who will answer the phone but here is what's listed on the owners contact page:

If it is that important, spring for the international phone call. It can't be but a few $$ and would be a small price to pay in the grand scheme of a trip.

Yup....dial it on Skype and pay less than a buck for the call (if the provided toll free number doesn't give you what you want)

While I am behind the times with regard to technology, smart phones, skype, etc,. I do have a virtually calling card I use to call SXM and it is a whopping 15 cents per minute and can be started for $10 I believe and time credit does not expire.

That would definitely work....sometimes, even without the virtual calling card, you just have to suck it up and dial the call....there are many ways to make a cheap internet call BUT if it impacts your vacation just make the freaking call.....however you choose. Skype has always been a fallback for me but it wouldn't ruin my day if I had to just dial the number....

If you have whats app put that number in your contact list. If they have whats app it will show up in the whats app contact list too.

I just downloaded the SBBR mobile app which has a DIRECTORY category that allows you to “touch” a department icon and send an email......also i found a better CONTACT US page and they even list a What’s App number (+52 998 1156413). Yes I have used Whats App in Europe...but my main issue and question here is to how to reach someone ON SITE, preferable in the Villas building, vs my other attempts that ended up in Cancun. A few years ago I dialed what I thought was a toll free number and ended up with a $26 charge . This time I thought I would ask on the forum because I know that most of you have a great knowledge of all things St. Maarten, and I appreciate that.. Oh, Google Maps list 888 phone numbers for both SBBR and a different one for the VILLAS (888-228-7930). I wanted a writing option (email or What’s App) too because sometimes it is better to list a questions / requests in writing for psecifics that can be referred to.
I will let you know which of the above mentioned newly found options works best.

Well communicating via the SBBR web app ......or at least starting there worked out great. I clicked on their DIRECTORY link and then on the CONCIERGE department button which opened an email template. I simply asked with whom I could communicate at the Villas concerning an upcoming reservation.
Within an hour I had the names and email addresses of two contacts . I sent a short email to both to clarify the point of contact. Again, within an hour, each answered me and confirmed one of the contacts as being the best POC for me, i sent that person my question / request (my two weeks exchange reservations theough II straddled an overlap, involved 2 categories of units ....and I wanted to explain that and look into possibility of staying in same unit the entire 12 days). About two hours later, I got an email asking for MY phone number.....then I got a call giving me a few options to consider. Very friendly and gracious and everything worked out fine. Kudos to SBBR / Villas for the great app that lets you directly send requests to various departments, make restaurant reservations and more.
Hope everyone has a good Labor Day weekend....and I am thinking of those of you in SE US and hoping so much that Dorian will not do harm to you. We are in Philadelphia.
