As I recall, there is actually a real sports bar now in Simpson Bay? I think I remember reading something about it here, but not a name or exact location. Not sure I'm interested in the one at Simpson Bay Resort, whatever that is called, as I don't know where you park? And I think you have to climb a bunch of stairs to get there? Looking to find somewhere to watch an evening football game and get a meal. I was also thinking either Three Amigos or Bar Code? Thoughts/recommendations?

Bar code show most sports. But a new bar opened in Cupecoy opposite Marios restaurant on the water. They have a huge outdoor screen, perhaps 10 feet wide and noticed all the sports being shown. Not sure about food though, perhaps some bites? But wouldn’t the Casinos have this facility?

bran---not interested in a casino, as I want a real meal. Any idea what the name of the bar is at Cupecoy?

Bluesfan--looking for American football, not soccer. laugh Never been to Dinghy Dock. Is that the one where you have to park and walk down that dock?

Thirsty Barons is a very nice sports bar in Simpson Bay. On the corner where you turn to go to Mary's Boon etc. Above Pollos Hermanos,

If you've never been to Dinghy Dock your not missing much unless you want to have slow and gruff service eating on picnic tables.

Pineapple Pete used to have a real sports bar there, but it's no longer there, from what I know. And the main part of the restaurant doesn't have many TVs.

I'm pretty sure that Pineapple Pete's has sports on their TVs -- sometimes. But, isn't there a Buffalo Wild Wings on Welfare Road? That would definitely qualify as a sports bar. And, there's a place called the Green Lounge Sports Bar that is sort of behind Top Carrot ... but, I've never been there. So, I have no idea what type of clientele frequents that place.

There’s a place called Buffalo Wings on Welfare road. It is most certainty not Buffalo Wild Wings.

Yep, it's there alright in the little plaza with Izi and across the street from Pineapple Pete's. I know I drove past it thinking the same thing. I just looked it up online and they don't use the word 'Wild' which to me means that it's not a franchised unit like KFC or Burger King would be on the island. Never been inside, but it's there so it may be worth a phone call to check them out.

It's probably where that one other restaurant used to be, right next to Izi? Can't think of the name of it now, was sad when it went away.

Yes, near Lals. They have several TVs and would have football on some. Also a large projection screen for Superbowl, etc.

There's also a new pub (with some food) that just opened up; they have quite a few TVs as I recall from my one visit. It's called The Pub and is located next door to Jimbo's, in the spot where Byblos used to be. Elaine can probably tell you more about it as I was there for just a brief time.

I would agree with Elaine on Thirsty Baron, besides lots of TV options the food and drinks were decent as well. I often sit at Lal's and watch NFL games, and see who Lal bet on this week. As for Dingy Dock, I have not had any issues with the service, love being able to get a decent beer.

The Pub is a new venue and shows sports, next to Jimbos in Simpson Bay, great place with great bar snacks and service

Jazzgal mentioned The Pub above, but Thirsty Barons is the one I was thinking of. That will be closer to us at Beachside, so we will probably try that one.

The Bodega Bar next to Bar Code should be opening soon. It’s supposed to be kind of a sports bar.
