News Update From BVI TOURIST BOARD regarding WEST END PORT OF ENTRY IN TORTOLA
Information on the West End port of entry below:
The BVI Ports Authority will be opening the temporary West End Facility on August 1st 2019 for Domestic and international traffic. The operating hours will be from 0700hrs to 1800hrs daily. Due to the limited berthing space and increase in small vessel traffic, the West End facility will only be allowing international ferry transportation to Red Hook.
The Native Son Inc. and Inter Island Boat Services are currently the only ferry services with approved schedules to operate from West End Terminal to Red Hook.
The following is the approve daily ferry schedule from West End to Red Hook.

Native Son Inc. - Departures from West End to Red Hook at 0830hrs and 1600hrs. Arrivals Red Hook to West End at 1545hrs and 1730hrs.
Please note additional ferry departure times may be added once approved. Should you have further inquiries please contact The BVI Ports Authority.
Just spoke with my friend Marjorie at Smiths. She just today, received that same notice from the BVI port authority. No advanced warning or info. Just going to start today. She is still waiting on the PA to grant her vessel Bomba Charger clearance. Seems as though the left hand hasn’t spoken to the right hand. But I can say she’s excited to get back on the schedule and for those of us who fly into STT and charter out of Nanny Cay this is welcome news. I told her I would post here when she actually is ready to start her first ferry after almost 2 years. IMG_9439.JPG
I spent all my money on "Boats", "Broads", and "Booze"; the rest I wasted!
