What are you looking for? Proximity to town? Beach?

It is hard to beat the Ritz Carlton, but if I didn’t have hotel points, I am not sure I would pay the price. Great resort with lots of activities. It gets you away from the hustle and bustle of STT.

We like staying at Emerald Beach: right on the beach, nice pool, good bar and decent food. I find you can get the best price by calling them.

The Ritz isn't scheduled to open until late Fall.

Thanks all. AA has changed up our air, getting there a day early (yay!). I would consider anything as long as it is on the beach.
Has anyone stayed at Secret Harbour lately?

We did four days in STT before our charter at an AirBNB near Compass Point.
I did not stay at Secret Harbor but did a couple of dives thru the dive shop there, Aqua Action.
After diving we hung out at the beach and beach bar and it was fantastic.

Is your bareboat out of St. Thomas or Tortola?

Tortola. But we are going to stay a few extra days in Tortola on the end of our trip.
I was thinking maybe Secret Harbour then take red hook ferry to Tortola on Saturday am.

I stayed 3 wonderful nights at Secret Harbor on July 3-6. First time staying there—after many stays at Bluebeard’s Castle and Olga’s Fancy. Although I personally prefer staying in Charlotte Amalie (love taking-in the town, historic architecture, etc.), I can highly recommend Secret Harbor if you are looking for beach resort atmosphere. Nice rooms with kitchenette. Good restaurant/bar on-site. Great swimming and decent snorkeling, steps from your room.
