We’re going to Anguilla this morning. Anyone have any experience with Link Ferries? TY

The only problem we ever had was in finding convenient parking there. Bring cash and DONT FORGET YOUR PASSPORTS! Otherwise it’s smooth sailing.

The Link is one of the oldest shuttles in Anguilla. They shuttle the school kids back and forth, and their price is lower than GB, Funtime and Calypso. If the timing works for you, do not hesitate to use them.
Have a great trip, and, as Pat said, bring cash and your passport.

Where are they based? Would they collect you from say Port Cupeco?

Bran,

They are in Marigot at the ferry depot, for want of a better term. I doubt they would do private pick-ups or drop-offs but that’s a guess on my part. You might be able to get that service with GB Express or Fun Times but it would probably be a lot more expensive than the slink Ferry.

The Link ferry goes to the airport. It is a private shuttle the same as the others that go to the airport.
You need to make a reservation, unlike the public ferry that goes from Marigot.

Thank you for correcting me, Ellen. I guess it’s been a while since we last used it. My bad......😔😔

Pat, you are always correct in everything you do!
Personally, if I were going for the day, I would take the public ferry from Marigot.
It is half the price, no reservation needed, runs every 45 min.

You have far more confidence in ME than I do but ty for that. We’ve done Link and GB as well as Marigot and if it was me I’d also daytrip via Marigot. Much less expensive and you can always breakfast in Marigot before you cross.

It has been a while but back in the day, the original Link did the airport after the newer Link Cat came into service and was one of the ferries in the rotation from Marigot.

JD, I believe you are correct. Franklin Connor has had the service forever, he is the father of Lyle Connor, owner of GB. The Link has always shuttled the school kids back and forth, and now they seem to be doing more tourist shuttles. When we go, if the timing is right, we take Anguilla Air Service, 8 minutes up and down, and no hassle at the ferry dock, doesn't cost that much more, and is a pleasure to arrive at the airport. If that does not work for us, we take GB.
Hope the OP comes back and reports their experience.

I did not know the relationship with Lyle. We have been on the Link Cat and also GB several times but never flown to Anguilla.

Ok. We used Link yesterday. There is a ferry terminal near the airport. No issues. Cost was the same as the others...$90 pp round trip. On time. Great captains. Would use them again.

Renee, that was a good price. The others are $60-65 one way. Right now GB is running a special til Aug 15, $45 one way. Glad it worked out for you.

We did the Link ferry on our return to SXM in April. Had planned to do the public ferry but they came up with a price that we couldn't beat! Very nice people! We have found that there is huge competition when you are returning to St Maarten but not so much going over to Anguilla. They had a great price and were leaving a bit earlier than the public ferry and we wouldn't have to get a taxi in Marigot, which is what we normally do. Enjoy!

All good info. I had never heard of them before so was a little reluctant. But we couldn’t have been more pleased with the whole experience. Everyone was so friendly and boat was on time. The trip took 20 minutes. We felt the price was decent as well.
