Love this forum - discovered it thanks to a kind couple on AA2219 flight

Wondering if anyone has been to Ilet Pinel lately. We’ve a few times pre-Irma. Is there still a boat going to Pinel? Worth the trip if we want a quiet beach and that shirt treck up the hill?

Everything on Pinel was totally destroyed by the hurricane but it has been rebuilt better than ever. The gift shop isn’t as big as it was pre Irma & the diving place has not been rebuilt. The boat still takes you there, $12.00 round trip.

Was that 12 euro or us?? T Y

attached photo as of July 1st ferry rates. not too many topless on yellow beach section. but back side unofficial nude section has much more beach area than before hurricane -- just no shade.
