The days are flying by and we are enjoying the relaxation that comes with a Sint Maarten Vacation. The days are spent repeating previous ones. Breakfasts change a bit. Monday morning we went to Vesna Taverna for breakfast and really enjoyed. The Ham and Cheese Omelet was perfect and flavorful. Yesterday (Tuesday) we stayed in and had scrambled eggs and English Muffins.
Monday for dinner we went to Frenchy Ludos. Another new stop for us. If anyone remembers where Saratoga is, it’s in there same spot. The setting outside on the water was nice. There was mellow live music. The food and service were excellent. We enjoyed it and if you have never been, check out their menu and if you see something you like, give it a try.
Last night we went to Pineapple Pete’s. We were in the mood for Burgers. We enjoyed them. The place was packed and the service was a bit slow, but hey, we are in the Islands and there is music. The turnoff came when near the end we were made to feel very rushed. Kinda like ok hurry up and leave. I know they’re busy but we didn’t fuss while we waited so to be rushed along at the end left a bad taste in my mouth.
Last full day is starting the same way. Coffee outside, nice breeze. Listening to the waves breaking and watching RC’s Allure Of The Seas sail by. Between MSC and RC there are 10,000 visitors today.
One note I have forgotten to mention is there is no sand on Maho at all. Driving by there while all the Cruise Passengers are there with no beach to stay on has been a bit scary. People drinking alcohol and balancing on the sea wall and center Divider is a disaster looking for a place to happen. So with 10k in town, I think the plan is to stay right here.
Have a great day everyone.

Wow, your last day already? Time sure passes fast on SXM!!
I am with you regarding the folks in the road at Sunset. Really scary sometimes. I am on edge, driving through there when there are big crowds.

I ate at Frenchy Ludos for the first time last Thursday, my last night on the island. It quickly became one of my faves on the Dutch side. The night I was there, Mr. Shiny was singing; he had been at L'Astrolabe on a previous Monday. He provides a nice background to a good meal. I had a shrimp tempura appetizer and a tuna/duck entree. Both were excellent, and service was pleasant and attentive. Highly recommend.

Agreed Frenchy is a good choice for a different take on food.

"I had a shrimp tempura appetizer and a tuna/duck entree" That is a different combo for a fin and feather entree. Two of my favorites that I have a difficult time deciding on.
