Hi There we are in the early planning stages of being on JVD for New Years Eve 2020. We’d loke as much information as you can share on how to make the most of this wonderful opportunity. We envision spending most of our time on Virgin Gorda but would like to charter a boat for one or two nights. Any help will be appreciated. Thank you

Are you staying on Jost or Gorda? The Christmas/New Year’s holiday is the busiest and most expensive week of the year, and most places have one week minimum rentals. Same for a charter boat. Places also book up early.
Getting between Jost and Gorda is not quick, easy or cheap. Hiring a day charter may be best for that.
Your best bet may be a week-long boat charter. Or stay on Tortola and do day trips. Scrub Island could also work: easy day trip to Gorda and they have excursions to Jost.

...Great Harbour JVD was an amazing place for NYE 20 years ago! Some great memories.
in 2020...I'll pass.
Which sounds really negative...but given how busy this last season has been and hearing tales of the years prior to Irma...I'm guessing that JVD NYE 2020 is going to be a mad one...and not necessarily in a good way!

Thank you, we very familiar with the BVI’s normally stay on VG. We are planning well ahead as this trio is well over 18 months from now.
Do ferries run late on NYE? It’s a bucket list for all of us so hoping to be able to stay on a boat not opposed to chartering. Any and all suggestions would be helpful.
