We stayed at our villa at Sapphire Beach Club. It was in great condition considering it was not even livable in 2018. Last yaer we had to miss going for the first time in 25 years.
Rented our car from Kenny Car Rental. First car had a little problem, but Lesley Bruce made everything right in a very timely manner. Will certainly use them again.
Didn't do a lot of eating out usually lunch at the beach, Mullet and Rosie's Ribs, but found that Kontiki was up and running on Orient Beach and great like before. Finally went to Porto Cupecoy the second week and found it to be a great place for dining and so convenient to SBC.
It was a relaxing vacation with a lot of beach time and we found the island recovering especially on the Dutch side. Much more devastation still visible on the French side.

Thanks for the report. What is the current condition of the elevators, etc., there? Had heard a lot about them not working in the past.

We stayed in Building 1 in late April and those elevators were working. Didn’t try elevators in other buildings, but did not hear of issues. Overall, the place was recovering pretty well - pool and restaurant open.

Most of the issues at Sapphire were not Irma related.
