Does anyone know if ferry service has resumed between Tortola and Cruz Bay? We are looking to spend a few days in St John after our charter and are struggling to find a ferry schedule.

Mattn, there currently is not a ferry from Tortola to Cruz Bay. If the West End opens as announced in August you may be able to do this if Cruz Bay also opens a ferry custom area on St John.
You will need to go one of the follow routes:
Road Town to Red Hook to Cruz Bay
West End Tortola to Jost to Red Hook to Cruz Bay
We are land based on Jost and took the 9 am Inter Island several weeks ago to Cruz Bay. Easy!

Thanks for the response. If we went the Road Town to Red Hook to Cruz Bay route, where do we clear customs? I know there was a temporary office set up last year in Red Hook, but is it still there? Or do we just clear in Cruz Bay?

We did Tortola via Red Hook to St John in March. It worked well. On another note, the sea turtles were awesome at Maho Bay. We went early before the crowds showed up.
