I never do a formal trip review as I usually post daily as I'm on island but wait till I get home to sort through my dive pictures and create an album on Shutterfly. If interested here is the link.

No. She just puts up with me diving in the mornings. I only went out 6 trips over 3 weeks this time as I didn't want to hold back her and our guests from doing daily island beach trips. I did get my annual birthday dives in marking my 300th all time logged dive. 283 of those on St Maarten.

Great photos! Always look forward to your pics after your trip to SXM. Question, what is that white thing with gold spots surrounded in black? Never saw that before. Those Moray eels remind me of the old movie "The Deep". Are they aggressive?? Thanks again for all the great pics and congrats on your 300th dive!

They are called Flamingo tongues. They have a hard shell and attach themselves to fans and others stemmed corals. Those eels could be if you crowded them or got to close.

Great photos, thank you for sharing. What ship wreck was that? It looks fairly "newer" down there.

Nice pictures. I miss diving. Had to stop due to an injury(not diving related). I probably had about 250 dives in total. Three-fourth's of them were in SXM, Mike...

Thanks for sharing. Your pictures are amazing. Were you worried about the shark? Not so sure I'm likin' that idea........

That was the recently sunk Jab Jab that was a floating bar in Simpson Bay before Irma took it down. They raised it up, cleaned out all fluids and contaminants and re sunk it by the old Bridge ruins sunk years ago.

Tell me about that. I'm 72 and no longer free dive while snorkeling. I try to breath while under water and it doesn't work out well. LOL
