Balls:

More than half the balls vacant at Cooper last night, all night.

15 empty at Marina Cay at 5pm today

More than half of The Bight at Norman vacant on Friday.

Takeaway:

Pirates at Norman very happy to do takeaway food - fab dinner aboard.

Cooper (had previously said yes on email) said no (after we just had lunch and drinks there), in a fairly aggressive way...fair enough, no problem, we're on island-time, water off a ducks back, more painkillers back aboard! So we instead gave our $$$ to Deliverance, who delivered food from Red Rock (East End) to the boat...fantastic! Ordered by FB message, paid in cash. Superb service. As an aside it seemed odd as Cooper was dead, with a mostly empty restaurant that night, but hey, their loss!

Marina Cay - super-happy to do takeaway, ordered at lunch, plan to collect in an hour or so...

Will continue to update over coming days if anyone is interested!

Bailau - right?! We're wondering why we've been here in Jan the last few years. So far May is better in every possible way.

No swell, perfect light trade-winds, hot, warmer water, no crowds, no cruise-ships.

Enjoy White Bay! Sounds like we're half a circuit behind you!

Well that's true! Dogs and North Sound for us tomorrow. Aiming for Prickly Bay anchor and dinghy up to Oil Nut Bay...dinner takeaway Leverick if all goes to plan.

Right back at you. This forum makes it possible to be ahead of the curve and squeeze every last drop from the time we are lucky enough to spend here!

Hoping to cross paths with riverfrontbrewer and others over the coming days.

We had a lousy experience at Cooper island Beach club last May.

Here is the thread

http://www.traveltalkonline.com/ubb...ch-club-restaurant-review-post-irma.html

Last week we picked up a mooring ball by cistern point. I learned that 8 or 9 balls are not owned by Cooper.

I was talking with the guy collecting the fees about Andy the restaurant manager. Andy is the guy that treated us poorly.

The mooring ball guy refers to Andy as Robocop.

I thought about that. It's funny.

Andy - that's the chap! What a delight he is. Robocop...sounds about right. Beautiful place but strange vibe, staff all a bit 'too cool for school'

ALL our trips down here have been in May. Perfect time. Was worried about CGB, but pretty nice right now. 🙂
