Four of us ate at Gutside last night. Two had the snapper filet and two had the garlic shrimp. All came with rice and peas, a unique blend of mixed veggies, salad and plantains. The food was absolutely delicious and Richard and Lourdes were great hosts. They are open everyday but Monday from 12-7. They close at 3 on Sunday. If local creole food appeals to you then I highly recommend Gutside.

It has been our experience over many years of driving by there (we stay around the corner) many times a day they are open randomly. If you just show up between 12 & 7 you cannot be sure they will be open especially now that its May. Anyone who has eaten there has been happy with their food & the people. I just don't want people to drive there & be disappointed if they aren't open. I recommend reservations.

We had Richard and Lourdes come to our resort last year with a variety of dishes. Food was wonderful and we all enjoyed the evening. Might be something others may want to try.
