We have not been back to SXM since 2012 but have followed this forum religiously, knowing that we would return one of these years. And we are, in December!
We just nailed down a 10 day trip to St. Martin prior to our 7 day family trip to Turks and Caicos over Christmas. Staying 3-4 nights each at the 3 clothing optional places near Orient: Club Fantastico, Jardin D'O and Residence Adam and Eve. Couldn't decide which place we wanted to stay at so we are trying all 3! So we'll be be gone 3 weeks or so next Dec. due to our pesky 50th anniversary !
We worked the dates so we could do Park-N-Fly at the Hampton Inn near MIA on 12/12, fly to SXM on American, fly back to MIA on the 22nd, stay overnight and do another Park-N-Fly at the Hampton for the T&C trip the next day, also flying on American Total of 19 days parking of which 14 are free at the Hampton. They'll charge for the extra 5 days but who cares!? Our R/T basic economy fare to SXM from MIA was only $268, plus extra $ TBD for checked luggage and seat selection that we might do later.
We would have worked the same arrangement with Jet Blue out of FLL (would much prefer flying out of there) but JB had not posted their schedule when we made our T&C plans in February- we wanted to grab good fares and seats on the puddle jumper in T&C (from Prov. to Grand Turk) while they were still available. At the time, we did not see, as we had originally hoped, any direct flights from T&C to SXM, hence the MIA connection in between.
Looking forward to having some fun and chipping in to help SXM recover at the same time .

Congrats on the 50th!! Sounds like way too much moving around in SXM for me, even if it is a c/o trip! But if it makes you happy, go for it!

Carol, I would normally agree but since the places are so close together and we'll have so little to move, we figured what the heck. If Club O was still there, that's where we would go full time. Chuck

Love to hear an update on Jardin as we are going in late June to meet up with another couple we met on the island 2 years ago. It will be between anniversary and birthday so a joint celebration! We will have a car but don't mind walking to Orient Village if it is not too far. Stayed at Esmeralda previous times and walked to dinner most evenings. Looking forward to Le Piment and other favorite restaurants. Also, if others will be there, may be open to renting boat (private or semi private) for trip around the island.

Chuck, sounds like a great plan. Since the places are so close to each other, no need to fully pack. We do the same - just throw most things on the back seat & move. We also think that, as much as we have enjoyed Club Fantastico, Club Orient had been the only place that we wanted to stay more than one week. In Dec. we stayed a week at Club F and a week at Naturist's Getaway, Oyster Pond. I, too, am looking forward to your comparisons.
I'm going where the weather suits my clothes.

Recently returned from an eight night stay at Jardin d O, our third visit since Irma. Like yourself would have liked to be visiting Club O but Jardin is a close second for the pool area, general location and well kept units. Lydia and Lionel are great owners and hosts. Hope you enjoy your anniversary stay.

If it's this June, you will beat us there by 6 months! At any rate, I will give an update after the trip.

We did stay a few days at Naturist's Getaway back maybe 10 years ago at least. Liked it a lot then, very relaxing small place.

The rental car will come in handy when going from Jardin to Orient Village. About a five minute drive. A little to long to walk and no sidewalk on main road until you would get behind the entrance into Orient. Jardin is within easy walking distance to Al Dente and during our stay a new restaurant/pizzeria opened at the bottom of Jardin's street.

Thank you all for the advice! Will be happy to report after the trip and believe we have made a great choice to stay based on reviews, comments, and upcoming trips.
