We flew home that way last week. It was not too bad. Not Charlotte for sure, but definitely not Miami. We used Mobile Passport, and I think we were through Customs/immigration in less then 15 minutes. We would go that route again for sure.

I flew on Spirit in January. The immigration lines quite long. I also went through Mobile Passport but was having trouble getting a signal on my phone to get through to the mobile line. Had a very nice immigration office that told me where to stand to get the signal. Mobile line was also crowded but moved quickly. This was on a Saturday evening around 6:30 pm.

From reading past posts, some people have reported this as being quicker than global entry. Since this doesn't cost anything, I don't see any reason NOT do it. We will definitely try it before our next trip.

Surely SXM though doesn't have it? Must be referring to your port of entry and then on return? Will give it a go

I thought Mobile Entry would be less crowded. Might have something to do with arriving on Saturday.

Mobile Entry in Boston had more people too. I think it's because more and more now have it.

The point is that this doesn't cost ANYTHING, and you don't have to decide whether to even use it until you get there and check out the line for Global Entry..

We used it coming back through Atlanta last year and were able to completely by pass a huge line. Trouble is not all airports participate. We return through Charlotte this year and I don't see them on the list of currently participating airports
