So very excited that we are all booked for our first trip back to the island since Hurricane Irma. The Jet Blue fares from Ft. Lauderdale made it an easy decision. Fortunately, we had enough points on Southwest to fly roundtrip from Austin to Ft. Lauderdale & then back home. Our favorite place to stay is Paradise Bungalows & Bruno had openings, so again, an easy decision. 69 days & counting. Is it May yet?

Hi, We're booked April 8 to 18 but can't find contact info to confirm our reservations.

The web address we have doesn't work and I can't find a phone number.

Can anyone help?

I use Facebook Messenger to correspond with Bruno - for me that is the fastest way- obviously does not work if you are not a Facebook user.

Thanks I used the email address you sent me and I've been in touch with him.
We're all set to be there in 18 days!!!!

Their web site is down for upgrade or repair.
We do use facebook but there again do not know how to contact him on messenger.

Which of the bungalows are you staying in?

Love that Jet Blue FLL flight. My daughter just used it and it was great. Land early, depart early. No airport lines probably even on Saturday at those times.

Well, don't get used to it, as they are changing the schedule to the more traditional times, as of I think May 1. As I said at the time, the problem is that NO ONE can connect to that flight at all, unless they overnight in FLL, and they cannot fill that flight ONLY with people from South Florida. So it is not currently a profitable flight for them, so they are changing it.

My daughter lives in West Palm Beach, so no connections for her. But the flights were full! Neither of us needs to deal with AA ever again, even if they change the times!

Right now they are selling those seats on Jet Blue for like $250 R/T, so people are jumping on those ultra low fares. It will be interesting to see whether AA reduces their prices from Miami, AND to see what the Jet Blue fares run in future.

yahoo we just booked at Beachside April 20-27 We were not going to go this year but the grey cool weather is getting to us so we contacted Beachside and they had openings. Also AA flight is back through Charlotte which is great for those of us coming from PIttsburgh. Husband emailed AAA for our car rental so life is so very good.

Just checked ours for May 5-13, & so far they are the flights we booked - we are flying into Ft. Lauderdale the day before & staying overnight on the way back, also, since we can't do it all in the same day, but since our flights to & from Ft. Lauderdale were free, we don't mind staying in a hotel for one night each way - hope they don't change it until we get back home. Fingers crossed.

Yes they are! When I booked JetBlue for our June trip we had the early times but about a month ago they sent me an email with their new times. I was going to overnight the day before because it was a 7:48 departure and the 3.5 hour drive made it necessary. Now that it's a 10:45 +/- I will be driving both before and after. I was looking forward to beating the crowds both ways. Thankfully we are flying Tuesday to Tuesday so the crowds hopefully won't be too bad.

BerneandGary--glad you are still on your original flight times. I would definitely keep checking on it though, to make sure nothing changes.
