We have had to change our travel plans (Southwest cancelled our Saturday flight to SJU, so we are now coming in on Friday). Air Sunshine is going to get us on a flight to EIS (we were scheduled to go to Virgin Gorda, but they don't go there on Fridays). We are arriving at 4:55, so we could take the Speedy's ferry at 6:30. We haven't been to EIS in years (direct to VG for us), especially after Irma. Is anything open on Beef Island to pass the time while we wait? Is there a water taxi that could get us to VG earlier? I feel very fortunate that we have been able to work out alternate schedules, and the bosses are letting us take an extra day of vacation, but just want to fill in these last details. Thanks!

Once you've cleared customs, retrieved luggage and snorkeled a nice refreshing painkiller or two from Trellis Bay...you may be most of the way to 6.30!

Both Marche and Trellis Bay Market should be open. Speedy’s is reliable and on time. By the time you clear Immigration and Customs, I wouldn’t waste the money on a water taxi. I would have opted for Cape Air over Air Sunshine, but that’s me.

Cape Air didn't fly to VG when we booked. Air Sunshine has been fine for us in the past, and this is a Southwest caused issue. Air Sunshine has been great in rebooking us. I just didn't want to spend the night in San Juan if at all possible.

Thanks for letting me know that Trellis is open. Not familiar w/ Marche. We used to stop at the Loose Mongoose back in the days before we would fly direct to VG.

I like browsing at Aragorn's studio in Trellis Bay.

I like browsing at Aragorn's studio in Trellis Bay. It will be good to see how it has recovered. Last time we flew over Trellis, it was a mess (last February). If we have time we will definitely look.

The bars at Trellis are alive and well - cool beers await.
