Breakfast on lanai. cereal. Have to save calories for all we will be eating this week. Friendly hellos to dog walkers we remember from last year.

Trip through Simpson bay to locate places we may want to dine at. So much for diet. Stopped at sucriere for almond croissants and coffee. Sat out overlooking lagoon. Another beautiful day.

Sol e Luna for 24euro 3 course lunch. Started with asparagus soup with skewered shrimp for aptzr. I had Kobe beef with rice in burgundy sauce. Hubby had pasta with clams. A glass of wine each. Dessert was chocolate ice cream with chocolate sauce and whipped cream for me. Hubby had strawberry cake. Waiter then brought a taste of ginger rum for each of us and the bill. This meal was so good we plan to return.

Late afternoon spent at the pool. Too full again to venture out for dinner so we had baguette and egg salad on lanai. Later we remembered we had forgotten to buy Etna ice cream so off we went to a small grocery store in Simpson bay for rum raisin. A small dish as we watched Skyfall on tv then to bed. Another day in paradise ended.

We may have to try that lunch at Sol e Luna this trip, as we have not been there before. Enjoy!

Hope you can figure out how to post some pictures from 'home'!

Sounds like lovely days so far. Those fixed-price lunches at Sol e Luna are delightful IMO.

Sounds like you are off to a good start! Sol e Luna is a great place for lunch and even better for dinner. Enjoyed a very relaxing lunch there in November and the price fix menu brings them a lot of business.
