What time do the buses between Mullet and Philipsburg quit for the day?

Sorry George. Almost no one here takes busses on island. Cars are so cheap and plentiful, and busses so unreliable, that most tourists don't bother.

Thank you, I was thinking it probably wasn't a well known fact. We have always stayed in either Maho or Simpson's Bay and haven't found much need for a car.

I use the busses all the time and find them very convenient for the Maho-SimpsonBay- Phillipsburg run - and no hassles with parking. Although the wait time is longer in the evenings I can usually get a bus until 9:00 or so. Even if I can't get a bus back to Maho where I stay, the bus/taxi round trip fare is still pretty reasonable and I find it pretty convenient.

I don't know if that is a fair comment. We use the buses regularly on the island and find them very reliable and convenient. While rental cars are plentiful, for us, they would not be a good value.

Unfortunately, I don't hve an answer about how late the buses run, though. We generally use them in the day.

I would stand by my statement that MOST tourists on SXM don't bother with busses. Some certainly do, as you do, but I would say the vast majority of tourists do not take busses on SXM.
