Hi, we are arriving at EIS at 3:45 and heading to scrub. Need to buy staples like bottled water, milk, breakfast essentials... as well as liquor and wine. where is the best place and what is the best way to do it? should we go before even getting to the resort? How would we lug a case of water?

Trying to figure things out. Also need kids beach toys...I assume there are some easily accessible to buy?

Thanks!

If that is really all you want the Trellis Bay market might have what you need but don't expect a lot of choices. Might be best to provision online to be delivered there or its a short ride the to the East End Riteway that would have more choices and I am sure would suite you needs.

No, do not rely on Trellis market for anything. Last time we were there, it was very sparse. Order online with Riteway and Caribbean Cellars and they will deliver right to your boat at Scrub for free. The DYC guys are great about putting the cold items in the refrigerator, storing your booze in the office and cranking the AC for you. Enjoy ⛵️⛵️

It sounds like they’re Scrub guests, not DYC. Scrub has a small market or stop in Trellis Bay Market. Both those are expensive and limited. Otherwise you can taxi to East End Riteway, but that will not be cheap. Ask the Scrub concierge if they have beach toys.

Thanks, do you know if Riteway delivers to Scrub guests as well? I will also ask the concierge but they aren't very fast to reply haha.

You can provision from Riteway and ask a taxi to pick them up and meet you at EIS or the Scrub Ferry.

We have a house on Jost, so we provision and have Iris Penn pick up our provisioned groceries. She meets us at the ferry dock on Tortola and off we go via water taxi. Fee involved for transport, but she is so dependable!

I would seriously doubt if Scrub wants their guests to be provisioning their rooms..they want you spending your $$ in their cars and restaurant.

Oh missed that! We rent a house on Tortola before charter and Riteway delivers provisions. Ask Scrub and don'r rely on the market at Scrub, mucho $$$ and not much selection.
Altho their breakfast burritos are pretty good if you get there early!
