Still not clear whether Cocoa Beach is going to be ...or something in its place.
Here are pics of today's work in front of Esmeralda. Talk is a restaurant in its place.

Footing and services are in; backfill in progress; rebar ready for walls.

Have a look!

You know, there's something about that particular pile of rocks at the end of that part of the beach that just makes me happy.

Thanks for the pictures! Any idea if you can walk from the Esmeralda units through to the beach (following the old path)?

Dave....counting down until our visit

Dave,
Have a look at pic 6067 ... you can see the Esmeralda sign ... and it looks as if you will be able to skirt the building with ease.

I'll see how the building advances and take some more pics in a week or so.

It's amazing how fast they are advancing ..they only started 2 to 2 1/2 weeks ago with a small crew. Last Thursday, (I think ... days are just a delight here and I never really know what day it is, except for the Cruise Ship Calendar!) ... they had a huge concrete pump there and at least 3 concrete trucks at the same time.

Today is our 1/2 way ..been here 4 weeks ... and 4 more to go!
Best Regards
RR

RunnernReader--wow, 8 weeks! Enjoy! Maybe close to the end, you can post updated pictures of the carbets area, and of Coco.
