Really? Theo is Claude Wathey's grandson. He was elected the year we bought there, in 1998.

Not exclusive to Caribbean. We have many politicians collecting their pensions while they do their time, usually corruption like bribery or illegal use of public funds, right here in Pennsylvania.
Clearly obvious to us that laws that permit this injustice need to be amended. All attempts to do so have failed.

Yes Tom it would be great, not to mention fair, if our elected officials were required to follow the laws we have to. Unfortunately we have to remember that those people are the same ones that make the laws and they just don't have any real incentive to do differently. The typical response from us are to vote them out of office but then that doesn't really hur them when they get that $174,000 per year for life pension. I agree with you but don't know what we can do.

Don't forget they also get medical insurance coverage for life as well! Even after only one term. it is ridiculous what we put up with.
