I am contemplating doing a bareboat in December 2019. There will be 4 couples, 3 of which have never been to the BVI. We plan on getting a power cat so sailing isn't a worry. All my previous bareboat adventures have been in February and March. I'd like any thought, comments, and suggestions on going in December. Thanks! JB

We've have been down early December many times. The water is till warm and there are less crowds. The weather can still be a bit unsettled and the Christmas winds can make conditions a bit rough. Overall its a great time of year.

We’ve been down in November and the first week of December. Both were beautiful times to be there!

The weather is usually very good, you could see some Christmas winds.
Anchorages don’t seem to get busy until after Christmas.
I don’t see any problems with your timing.
