If I take a taxi from the cruise port to the perch lite and then walk to Orient Village, will I have trouble getting a return taxi about 2 p.m.?

Should be plenty of taxis but I would tell the driver that took you there to pick you back up at a designated time and location and you'll pay the total fair when he delivers you back to the port.

Agree with Scubaman, should not be a problem at all. Done it many times pre Irma, and now that things are getting back to as normal as can be expected with Orient, I would not think twice about it. Especially for a 2pm pickup.
