Nick and Monica were the heart and soul of The Poker Run..not sure if anyone is ready to pick up that very hard job now that they are gone..

Having been involved with the Poker Run for more than a few years, I'll chime in. Along with Nick & Monica's endless work on the event, they had a marketing/promotional company who constantly promoted the event to their target participants, which was Puerto Rico. Those boats usually made up 3/4 of the "active" participants in the Poker Run. Leverick Bay is no longer associated with that company. Unless something has changed, I don't think Leverick will be able to pull off the Poker Run we enjoyed in the past.

That is a pity - raised a lot of money for local charity - the villa owners at Mahoe Bay chipped in a lot over the years to raise the bar.

I’ve been here at Leverick Bay now for a week and I’m hearing lots of hype for the May 26 2019 Poker Run. Looks like all plans are underway for the event. Check their web site.

Yes there will be a 2019 Poker Run - the plans are underway & we are very much looking forward to hosting the event again. Sunday May 26th! We will be launching more details by the beginning of next week!
