What happens when you create an interesting menu but you don't discuss it with the chef and waitstaff? You get a Burrata salad made with Mozzarella, Bruschetta that is a toasted French bread slice topped with just grilled onion and, though it was a featured desert item and after waiting 28 minutes, the Affogato was a mere bowl of ice cream. What a huge disappointment at the DIVI restaurant. Lisa

Dud you bring this up to anyone's attention in the restaurant or just let it go?

We stopped eating at Divi years ago. And we have complained to corporate who always has an excuse. Last time we were told to wait for the new Pure restaurant. Well it sounds like nothing has changed. We loved Pure restaurant at Divi in Aruba. Maybe Divi Little Bay doesn't pay enough to get a decent chef?

Brought issues to the attention of the wait staff...no real response. Not sure what was wrong.

We read the menu earlier this week but it all sounded pretty ambitious for what Divi has been able to execute in the past, so we didn't bother to try it. We did have a decent burger and a shrimp skewer lunch at Gizmo's and enjoyed the friendly server.

We ate several meals at Gizmo's in September while staying at The Belair and it was all good but it was slow season too.

As an owner I appreciate your comments on the new restaurant at Divi but the only way things can start to improve is when comments such as yours are brought to the attention of local management so I would suggest you speak to Paul the head of Food Services and to the new Manager Anne Marie.

Maybe talk with NEW manager but Paul is the one who always tells me they'll look into it.

We didn’t feel like driving so decided to try Pureocean tonight. I had the blackened salmon which was actually very good and cooked perfectly, just a bit rare in the center. My husband had the pork saltambica, which was a huge serving with what looked like a pound of pork and enough pasta for 2. He thought it was fine and ended up with enough for another meal. Our biggest disappointment was our salads, which looked good with very fresh lettuce mixture but a flavorless house dressing. Overall, our impression was that it’s better than previous versions of the restaurant and attentive service, but not as good as many local restaurants. But for a night when it was too much effort to drive somewhere, we had a pleasant meal and could enjoy the live music at Gizmos.
