We will be arriving next week, does anyone have any updates on the airport? I don't know if I should do carry-on's or check my bags, if it's about a 45 min wait for my bags I'd rather do a carry-on. Thanks in advance.

Just there in December after 1st floor of terminal reopened. After passing through immigration we waited approx 10 minutes for our luggage to appear on carousel. Whole arrival process was quite quick.

We are here now, arrived 12/30. Picked up son at airport 1/7, daughter and granddaughter on 1/12. None of us had more than 30 minutes delay for bus from plane, customs, and immigrations.

I arrived on JetBlue and it was a breeze... Departing was easy but not knowing what was available in the departure lounge I ate at the food truck outside. The burger was delicious and I sat on a picnic bench under an umbrella. Inside the departure there are plenty of food vendors and a bar.

From a prior post I recall you saying you were concerned about connection in PHL. Were there any problems getting from F to A? I have the same flight on Feb 9.

We landed from PVD at B6 and left from A3...maybe a 10 minute walk. NO issues....now if you want to discuss de-icing issues...;)

I am going by memory so it could be misinformation... Entering the departure lounge is ESCA offering nice looking sandwiches and chocolate chip cookies that I purchased for my flight. Next to ESCA is the bar... Very cool! Pic of sign behind bar enclosed. Johney Burger and Domino Pizza both in departure lounge and have food trucks outside terminal.
Shipwreck Shop and Gouda Liquor store for gifts and I think there was a Subway? There were a few other concessions but I am not sure what they were. My main complaint is there are no tables to eat at. All food is consumed on your lap unless you score a seat at the bar.
