On Tortola they paint yellow stripes over the speed bumps so you can notice them..but beware if you are walking..when the yellow stripes get wet they are like ice. I took a header this morning outside Sebastian's and I should know better. Whatever that paint is they use, add a little dropped motor oil and whoosh..be careful out there!

I'm fine but knew for a longtime how slippery they were and still skidded onto my@rse. Just be careful..

A little sand mixed in the paint would fix that. If only sand were easily available! G

Did the same thing years ago walking out to the point at CGB past the gas station. Fell on my face. Broke a bead in my beard.., Could have been a tooth..Careful of those speed bumps.
