Hi, Are any of you familiar with the Plaza Orient Bay? I booked a studio in Jan, it looks nice! Can't wait to get back...

Thanks!

From looking at the map it appears to be the 2nd floor of or righ behind the strip of small shops that are before the strip containing the yellow submarine and Petite Casino.

I've never stayed in that one but have rented a unit in the one right behind it (away from the beach).

That's a great location. Le Piment is just across the street.

Enioy!

We stayed in a Plaza Orient unit there in 2015 - worked with Delphine Roberty - on second floor - unit was great and Delphine was great but the units did not have pool access and we generally want that, so we only stayed there once. Only problem we had was that we could not find the place when we got there and I had forgotten to have Delphine's phone number with me - called Sharon for help and, of course, she helped us out. (No idea what Irma did or did not do to the units.)

We stayed there last year and are booked again for late December through most of January. We loved the unit and the location. Of the places we have stayed in Orient so far, the unit we staying in at the Plaza is our favourite.

I am typing this from one of those studios, the 3rd one we have been in since Irma, everything is good, except for this time they are replacing the roof and roof panels have been stored on the patio. Great location and great overall condition

I just got back from a trip 11/4-12/3, staying in Orient (Esmeralda). The village has started to come back, for sure, but do adjust your expectations that it's still a construction zone. I met some people staying in the units above the shops, and early morning construction noise was "significant". Hopefully where you are will be better by your visit. Otherwise, the village shops and restaurants were far ahead of my expectations.
