How easy would it be to fill a small 1 handle cooler with ice each morning at Marys Boon.

If not easy, where is a nearby place to buy a small bag of ice and carib shortly after leaving the boon for an island road trip?

cruzer says there's an icemaker in the lobby, so you should be good. What we often do is to keep bottles of water in the freezer to use in the cooler, and also for water as they thaw. You might want to do that also.

Carol, I don't think the room fridge has the capability to freeze a bottle of water within a week, let alone overnight. We've never had an issue with the ice maker, which isn't in the lobby, but by the lobby--sort of on the right before you enter from the road.

Tons of Ice at Mary's Boon. FYI.... They have huge Ice Machine tons of ice over by the Housekeeping Dept plus the one by the lobby. They have a very busy beach bar and restaurant so Ice is not a problem at Mary's Boon.

Not Carol, but no icemakers at BSV. Not a big deal as long as you fill the ice bucket and keep the trays filled. We made frozen drinks every afternoon and didn’t find it to be a problem. I’m also one who refills and keeps a water bottle or two in the freezer for beach or pool enjoyment. Can be used as an ice pack but it melts quickly enough to use for drinking, too.

Depending on how many people/guests you have you might need extra ice. I have ordered from Jeannie in the past.

Renee--the ice cube trays are generally full and frozen when we arrive, and one of the first things we do is dump the trays. And we dump them every day. I don't recall ever having had to buy ice there.

Yes, Carol, it is a mini fridge. We only stay in the studios, so maybe the larger units have a full sized unit, but the studio's freezer compartment maybe holds 2-3 ice trays..

OK, I've stayed there once, but it was only one night a while ago, so don't remember how big the fridge was.
