We went to Couples San Souci in April and just returned from Couples Negril so I thought I would share a brief comparison for those looking for a Club O fix as we are.
The Couples product (at lest with these two properties) is very consistent in terms of service, food, accommodations, grounds, etc. I like Negril better for the following reasons. Although the beach is only about half the size of San Souci’s it gets way better breezes, the SS beach breeze is blocked by the peninsula that separates the textile and nude beach. This makes SS very hot. The beach at CN is the soft, white sand characteristic of Negril. The entry is very easy and the water Carribean warm. SS beach is a little rocky and the water ice cold due to it being basically on the bank of the White River. The SS Nude side has a pool and a grill and CN does not. Both have good bars. Shade is good at both. There are no problems with beach vendors or gawkers at CN as we read in other reports.

Thanks for the comparison. So, do you have another trip booked in Jamaica or are you going back to SXM??

We are going to try Jardin O near Mount Vernon in June 2019 as an option near Club O beach.

beachnuts---have you tried Club Fantastico? Just curious. Regardless of the fact that Club O isn't there, Club O beach is still amazing..

Couples Negril has a textile beach and a nude beach. The beaches are separated by a fence and landscaping. However once you walk out into the water there is only a rope with bouys dealinateing the two swim areas. There is no nude pool at CN only a nude hot tub. San Souci has a nude pool and hot tub.

We haven’t tried Club Fantastico. We priced it out against Jardin O and Jardin O was by far the better deal.

We haven’t been to CN but our last 5 trips to the Caribbean have been to San Souci. We really enjoy it. Looking forward to getting back to St. Martin.

We stayed at Jardin d O the first week in May and returned for the first week of September of this year. We are returning for the first week of April, 2019. The property has a lovely pool and nice grounds. The owners live on the property and are very friendly and helpful. Hope you enjoy your stay this coming June.
