I arrived this afternoon and settled into Beachside Villas for the next three weeks. Lots of activities planned so may hold the trip report until arrival back home. It will be a different vacation for me this time so lots of adjustments for sure. Happy to be in a place where we made wonderful memories together, but many sad moments too.

We hope you enjoy your vacation. I'm sure there will be happy & sad tears. We would loved to have met you but we are leaving St. Maarten today. You have entertained us for years with your trip reports and we always marveled at all the activities you and your husband packed into your vacations. Best wishes.

Elizabeth--I'm sure it will be a bittersweet trip but I hope you enjoy yourself. So many memories, but Beachside is a wonderful place to be.

I arrived a few days ago. The number of blue roofs, no roofs, and empty shells that I saw while landing were a bit daunting. Still, the best thing that we can do for the island is to be there, and to spend money. Recovery doesn’t happen overnight.
