Three days til back on island. Was there for a week in February but this will be first time back at OBBR since Irma. Be good to see how much has progressed since my last trip. That time I was at an AirBnB in Simpson Bay and not too much was open. Most days was breakfast at the yacht club then my lunches at the Palms or Jerusalem and dinners at Dinghy Dock. (I know - life is hard...).  Looking forward to diving again with Ocean Explorers.

You going throug CLT or MIA? Our redeye is SEA to CLT to SXM. Same route back. Does Portland go direct to CLT too?

I leave on a redeye tonight! Last there in June. Safe travels Linda! Cannot wait to see your reports and pictures. You do so much with your time there.

We leave Friday night, red eye and off to Curacao. Then back to SXM the Friday after Thanksgiving for two weeks.
I prefer the Isle seat

You going throug CLT or MIA? Our redeye is SEA to CLT to SXM. Same route back. Does Portland go direct to CLT too? CLT. At the time I booked, there weren't any routings through MIA outbound. I was initially scheduled to return through CLT also but AA changed the times so that I had slightly over an hour in CLT. Even though I have Global Entry, I wasn't sure that was enough time so changed it. So returning, I'm now going SXM-MIA-DFW-PDX with an overnight in DFW. I'm kind of sorry now that I changed it as a friend with Global Entry said she went through everything in ten minutes in CLT.

Safe travels. We have GE too and CLT is pretty fast with it. Maybe you can change and avoid the overnight. Good luck.

Make sure you visit the northwest beaches; they're gorgeous. We'll get back there one of these days. Dkupersmith, have a safe flight. We'll be on island ourselves shortly. Enjoy your trip!

We did a cruise stop in Curacao. Nice quaint island.

23 years ago, in the wake of Luis, we went to Curaçao for a week. It was 4 weeks after Luis and we were scheduled into Pelican. We scrambled and got something on Curacao with absolutely no prior knowledge. We did enjoy it. We have done 2 cruise stops since and it has just gotten better. We do want to return.
